We welcome all
public and private schools to benefit from the historical and cultural
enrichment available here at The Museum of Western Art. Advance registration
assures school children of all ages free admission to our exhibits as well
as a guided tour of the Museum. Teachers and chaperones free.
The Director of Education will be ready to coordinate and customize these
tours to fit each teacher’s individual needs. Special entertainment is
available as well as classroom visits and lesson plans. Please review the
following and don’t miss all the special additions that are available for
your tour!

A guided tour
of our current exhibit and the Journey West Gallery will
be offered with each visit. Tour related lesson plans
and pre-visit hand-outs are available with 3 weeks
notice. Please register 3 weeks in advance by calling
(830) 896-2553, Ext. 221.
Lunch
Our beautiful pavilion can be set up with tables and
chairs to accommodate brought-in lunches for all schools
at no additional charge.
